I received this aquarium as a birthday gift in 2007, but I only set it up several years after I received it. The aquarium is almost square, but with a curved front. It includes a full-cover lamp with an E14 bulb. There is a hatch in the lamp where you can feed the fish without removing the lamp, and there is also a light switch on top of the lamp.
The aquarium is stated to be 19 liters, but that must be said to be optimistically set - in reality, the aquarium is probably 1-2 liters smaller.
An annoying detail is that the aquarium is not sealed at the top trim, so if you fill it up so that you cannot see the water level, I have experienced that some water leaked out between the trim and the acrylic.
Maintenance
Acrylic aquariums are VERY FRAGILE, especially when it comes to cleaning - it takes almost nothing to scratch them. If you, for example, get a solid algae attack, it is difficult to clean the sides without scratches appearing in the acrylic. I would not recommend acrylic aquariums at all precisely because of this problem.
Status
It may sound like I haven't been happy with the aquarium, but I actually have. It is nice and discreet, and the disadvantages I have mentioned have not prevented me from being happy with it. For a long time, it was the only aquarium I had set up, but I took it down in 2018 as it had become too scratched. Instead, I have bought a new 25 liter silicone-sealed glass aquarium at Junglefever in Rønnede.
